Press Conference - Lifepath - 17 May 2016

Dear colleague,
We would like to invite you to a virtual press conference about the first results accomplished by Lifepath, an EU-funded project aimed to investigate the biological pathways underlying social differences in healthy ageing. The press conference will be held on May 17, during a two-day event that will take place at the Faculté de Médecine Paris Descartes in Paris, to assess and present what has been accomplished during the project’s first year of research and to discuss future perspectives.
Social inequalities is killing on a grand scale” said Michael Marmot to describe the impact on health quality caused by socio-economic disparities between people, especially in time of economic depression. A gap that is growing deeper and wider, thus leading to serious consequences in terms of health.

Here you can find more information about the event.

The press conference will start at 1:00 PM CET (GMT+2:00) on the Zoom platform and will be attended by some members of the Lifepath project:
Paolo Vineis (Imperial College, United Kingdom)
Marcel Goldberg (INSERM, France)
John Mackenbach (The Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands)

If you are interested in participating, you may send your confirmation to Luca Carra (carra@zadig.it).
